Sensational vocalist Sheena Davis, who has been likened to Eva Cassidy, Dinah Washington & Karen Carpenter will be performing in Brent Knoll Church following a series of sell-out performances in Somerset earlier in the year.  Now living in London,  Sheena is highly regarded as the “finest new talent to come around for many years“ (Jazz fm).  Her dynamic voice and musicality have earned her the respect of fellow musicians and singers, which alongside her choice of songs have won her many supporters among people new to swing & jazz.     

“A superb artist singing superb songs” (Radio 2) Sheena was formerly the lead singer with the prestigious National Youth Jazz Orchestra and her list of credentials include the British Gas ‘Tomorrow’s People Award’ and a listing in the ‘Who’s Who Of British Jazz’.  With her "impressive backing band" (Mail On Sunday) Sheena is currently on a tour following the release of the critically acclaimed album 'Young At Heart'.  The tour has included a week long residency at the world famous Ronnie Scott’s Club in London and has seen sell-out performances all over the country. 

With a "terrific vocal range going from high octane swing to the sweetest and most gentle of sounds" (Artservice), Sheena will be performing songs by artists such as Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald & Doris Day alongside material by Carole King, Ray Charles & Labi Siffre.  Add to that Sheena’s dynamic stage presence and you have “an entertainer in the true sense”  (Birmingham Evening Mail).
