Brent Knoll Open Gardens 2007


BRENT KNOLL GARDENS (Group opening)

 

Also open for the NGS on Sunday the 15th July from 2 - 6pm are a group of gardens in the village, combined admission £4.50.  Cream teas will be available at Copse Hall. 

 

The group consists of;

 

COPSE HALL – Several acres, including terraced gardens, crinkle crankle kitchen garden wall, ponds, New Zealand plants, shrubs, beech wood and Soay sheep.  Amazing views from the terraces.  Plants available for sale, some propagated from the garden.

ANVIL COTTAGE – Ideas for a small garden, lots to see!

CROFT COTTAGE – Approximately   ¾ of an acre, under present ownership since 2002.  Consists of original, previously neglected garden, and main garden, which was taken from the adjoining field in 2000.  Much new planting, young and mature trees, vegetable patch, pergola and novel, new centrepiece.
