Knoll Christmas Raffle
The
picture shows Bob Filmer and John Page, from the Brent Knoll Parish Hall Committee, alongside Lisa, Kerry and Sam, from Hair By Design, who are kindly displaying the prizes for the Parish Hall Christmas Draw in the window of their shop during the month of November. Thomas the Tank Engine was made for the Parish Hall Committee by Percy Bishop as the latest in the line of annual prizes he has kindle built for the Project 2000+ fund raising effort.
There is also two shots of Percy holding the engine.
The Grand Christmas Draw will take place at the Red Cow Quiz on the 19th December when ticket holders will have the chance to win the prizes on display: a Hand Crafted Thomas the Tank Engine (built and donated by Percy Bishop), a Large Teddy Bear, a Children's Tool Set, a Child's Sparkly Stationery Set, a Large Dressed Doll (donated by John & June Lamb) and a Remote Control Car PLUS prizes more suitable for older members of the family, A bottle of Whisky, Brandy, Port, Sherry, Gin, Vodka, Basket of Fruit, Box of Chocolates, Biscuit Assortment and a tub of spring flowers. There is something for everyone !!
Tickets are available from Brent Knoll Post Office, Hair by Design, The Red Cow or any Parish Hall Committee member.
All proceeds will go towards Project 2000+ for the renovation and refurbishment of the Parish
Hall. Building works were recently
finalised, but funds still need to be raised to pay off the loan taken out in order to complete the project.
