Brent Knoll - Welcome to our village
Brent Knoll is situated in the South
West of England. Brent Knoll village is the beautiful village that wraps around
the western side of Brent Knoll hill. One of the few hills on the
picturesque Somerset levels, it can be seen from miles around and will be
a familiar sight to many travellers on the nearby M5. Brent Knoll Parish
Hall is now open to the public following the renovations. |

the Romans to make a fortified position. The surrounding area was held by
the Glastonbury Abbey estates until the Dissolution of the Monasteries in
1536.
During the last War, the Home Guard had a gun emplacement on the Knoll.
The population in 2001 was 1250. |
