NOTES
FROM THE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON 6th July 2009 and 20th
July FOOTPATHS
: Two
Stiles near to the Cider Farm are in need of attention. The area needs to be
sheep proofed in the near future. Further comments had been received regarding
the new Knoll footpath and the slippery surface near to the top. I t was
reported that this path was still going through a bedding in process and with
the dry weather it still had some loose gravel on the surface. Some kind of
warning notice was proposed. HIGHWAYS
: There
was a problem again this year with the slow cutting of the verges and of
particular note the exit from Wick Lane. This will be brought to the attention
of the County Council. VILLAGE

Arnco around the parking area has been damaged and torn out of its base. A quote
for the replacement and remedial work is to be sought. Councillors commented on
how clean the green had been left after the recent fete and thanked the
organisers for this action. SPEEDING

new issues raised at this meeting except to say that as always the Parish
