Parish hall secretary - Sandra Few Tel: 01278 760451 The Parish hall is home to many of the clubs and societies in the village. It is situated next to the Village Green, and has some limited parking. Fund raising efforts have been underway since the millennium to modernise and improve the facilities. Work has now been completed.
Hall
Location The Parish Hall fronts on to Brent Street. To find the Hall turn left off the A38 opposite the Fox and Goose Public House. Continue along Brent Street for approximately 1 mile and the Hall is on the right hand side of the road adjacent to the Village Green Car Park, which can be identified by the Village Flag Pole and Jubilee Stone. Facilities The Parish Hall comprises the Entrance Lobby, Main Hall, Nuttall Room, Kitchen, Utility Room, 3 x Store Rooms, Toilet Block including Disabled WC and secure Children’s Toilet with access from the main hall. Parking is available on the Village Green Car Park adjacent to the Hall. Brent Knoll Parish Hall was fully refurbished in 2004 and is suitable for hire for Exhibitions, Conferences, Meetings, Parties, Plays, Film Shows, Whist Drives, etc. The Main Hall is fully heated and offers a movable stage (to be booked separately) and a Serving hatch to the Kitchen. The Nuttall Room is fully heated has a Serving Hatch to the Kitchen and is suitable for hire separately or in conjunction with the Main Hall. The Kitchen offers Hot & Cold Water, 6 Ring combination Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher, Kettle, Urn, Crockery, Ample Work surfaces and power points and serving hatches to the Main Hall and Lounge.
