Brent Knoll Methodist Church
Brent Street, Brent Knoll Minister - Stephen Hill In AD 1837 a Chapel was erected by the Bible Christian Society. The founder of Methodism, the preacher John Wesley once climbed the Knoll and declared: "I know not wherever I saw such a prospect." A warm welcome awaits anyone who would like to attend the church, locals and visitors alike. Among other clubs and activities, the church operates the village youth clubs, where the youngsters really enjoy themselves. They are on a Monday evening at the Chapel, with age 7-11 from 6 until 7pm, followed by age 12-15 from 7:30 until 9:30pm. Also there is the YP Fellowship which has no set time to meet and is for school years 12 upwards. Telephone 01278 783234 for more information regarding events. |
